Pottery Barn Style Wood Pillar Holders

Hi everyone.

Hope you are having a relaxing weekend so far.

I've been a big fan of Pottery Barn design and accessories, especially their pillows and pillar candle holders. Inspired by one of their candle holders line, off I went on search for the perfect thrift holders I could get.
So here is my inspiration followed by what I've found and how they've turned out after bit of white paint, distressing, and waxing.

Before & After French Nightstand

Just a quick before and after of a lovely French style nightstand I've found over the weekend while doing my usual "treasure" hunting route. I also found a matching chair that I have already been working on it, will share about it later. I plan on using it as a desk chair for the little one's bedroom.

While I'm still healing from my recently loss, I find painting helps me keep my mind empty and my heart calm.

Recycled Cobalt Blue Large Wine Bottle

Hope everyone is doing just fine!

Today I wanted to share the source for this super find. - Recycle Cobalt Blue Large Wine Bottle - I was so tickled when I saw this beauty... oh! I kept thinking of all the beautiful was I could use it around the house. I even did a bit of a "research" on Pinterest - click here to be redirected.

So, yesterday my mother-in-law and I decided to take a little trip to the Vietri Outlet Shop in Hillsborough, NC. We love going there from time to time and look at all the beautiful Italian dishes, but this time to my own surprise I was falling in love with this beautiful large wine bottle. I simply adore that cobalt blue recycled glass... and with the price tag marked down from $94 to only $24 dollars, I had to make that purchase.

I'm loving it!!

Don't you just love them?
From the very moment I decided to post about the randomness of toys, silly things, and stuff left around my home, I knew I would keep my eyes wide open to try and catch these precious moments.

According to my little one, they have been sitting there awaiting for new batteries... I guess that's a good way to get mommy's attention.
Well, I better get that task done!

It's fun! Almost like playing "shopkeeping" you know? Creating displays?
I miss those days where Mary (check out her fantastic adventures around the world!) and I shared a space at SuzAnna's Antiques. We certainly had lots of fun, great times...

Pretty Vintage China Hutch

Look what made it's way through my front door right into my dining room!

This lovely white hutch I had been in love for over years!

It used to be a display piece at a local shop and as soon as I found out it was up for sale and the owner was offering another 30% off of it, I could not pass on the chance to bring it back home with me.

Needless to say it was already painted in my favorite color - Linen White - which it was great! It has saved me some work time, specially now that we're busy with moving and other stuff. All I had to do was to give a little coat of paint under the shelves to fresh them up a bit.

Anyway, I played around it a little last night and displayed some of my favorite things on the shelves.
